Full brown polished calf, gilt spine, dentelles, glazed endpapers, t.e.g., , foot of spine chipped, otherwise a very good, uncut copy. $250. ¶ "Before the end of the eighteenth century there was published an edition of ‘The Vicar of Wakefield’ with illustrations by Stothard, which is, undoubtedly, the handsomest edition issued in that century of this tale.
